Tanner had his first piano recital the other day and he made is parents very proud. He has been taking lessons for about a year and although he doesn't always enjoy practicing, he does enjoy playing his songs once he gets them down. He was really confident and played his songs well. I think he has a real talent for music, it comes relatively easy for him. I really wish I was musically talented, but I'll just live my musical dreams through him.

Yeah Tanner! He should get together with cousin Ethan next time you all are in the same neck of the woods so that they can do a beautiful duet together.
As for musicality, it missed me altogether also, but Tanner could have gotten the talent from his Great Grandma Chiapelli and Pop-pop. Probably Kevins family too. So great that he loves music. Does he still play his drums as well?
That's why we have kids isn't it? To live through them? JK --he's awesome!

Tanner is really good! We know we'll be in Utah in August for a family reunion. I'd love to see you. Maybe I'll be spontaneous and come sooner:)-Megan
